COVID-19: SMA GHANA PROVINCE DONATES TO HOPE FOR LIFE PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED ASSOCIATION OF GHANA

#33. COVID-19: SMA GHANA PROVINCE DONATES TO HOPE FOR LIFE PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED ASSOCIATION OF GHANA

As part of the Charism of the SMA: “close to the poor and the marginalized in society, on the 1st of May, 2020, the feast day of St. Joseph the Worker, the SMA Ghana Provincial Superior and Council presented some relief items worth GHS 40,000 to Hope for Life Association of Ghana. This association which was initiated by the SMA some 25 years ago in response to the resolutions of Venerable Bishop de Marion Bresillac: “Cease every opportunity to proclaim the Kingdom of God” and “being close to the poor and the most abandoned in society”.

These items were procured through the help from the Provinces of Ireland and British as well as Friends of SMA Ghana.

Present at the event were members of the Provincial Council: Fr. Paul Ennin-Provincial Superior, Fr. Dennis Etti- Vice Provincial Superior and Fr. Junior Biro- Provincial Councillor. Others present were Fr. Samuel Agbeme and the President and Vice of Hope for Life Association.

We thank God for His continuous help to the poor and needy and we say “ayekoo!” to the Provincial Superior and his Council for this act of charity.

May Venerable Bishop de Marion Bresillac intercede for us all during this time of Covid-19 pandemic.
